Hi everyone, I answered to a job about 2 weeks ago the lady explained that she needed a sitter for her sister that was 36 years old, very ill with epilepsy and pneumonia and she was moving her here from Utah. The lady said her name was Sharon Winspear.

Hey guys this is a scam. She said she was a teacher at a deaf school, The job was three days a week, payment was 500 dollars a week for 3 days. Informed me to pick my own schedule, because she did not want my current job to interfere with my taking care of her sister. Look on current jobs, now she is offering 54 dollars an hour, last week it was 46 dollars an hour.

Whoever you are God don't like ugly; and you are going to get whats' coming to you. Scam.scam, scam!!!!!

Reason of review: I have come into contact with 2 scam artists!.

Sittercity Cons: Scammers, Complete lack of security protecting users.

It is now March 2017 and this woman is still running the same scan. I wonder why it took Sittercity this long to do something about it. i called them yesterday and they told me that they removed her ad and her account.

I just received the same thing. Even asked for my bank account info!

Job hunting is so stressful, why add this to it!?!? Ugh! The post I responded to was on Ziprecruiter.. caregiver/ customer service.

Just be aware.

(If I'm looking for work, what makes these people think there is money in the account?!... Lol)

My girlfriend sent her info. already to this POS, told her to call her bank and the credit reporting agencies. JENNIFER WINSPEAR daloveones@***.com text to (646) 439-****

a friend of mine got scammed with this yesterday. They said they were mailing something to us.

Nothing dangerous is going to happen right? Did you guys report it at all?

Now her name is Barchel McCoy from Wyoming. She's saying her sister's name is Helena.

I'm glad ya'll are posting about this person! I thought it was too good to be true and her responses seemed computer generated.

If people hadn't posted about this fake b****, I (and others) could have been scamed! Thank you!!!

Have they tried to contact you more, they kept messaging me and saying bad things

Definitely a scam! Why would she pay anyone that much money when she can get a CNA and pay $9/hrly or less.

Her next step would be to send you a cheque or money order, ask you to deposit it, keep some for yourself as advanced payment and wire the rest. The cheque/money order would then come back as fraudulent and you would owe the bank the full amount.
